...will stand in this kid's way. Being an apartment dweller for all 10 of his months, JW had yet to encounter stairs. That changed when we stayed with Laura and Lee (and Laelle and Ashlyn) in Colorado. After very briefly studying the ascending surfaces before him, JW was off skyward like Lance Armstrong scaling the Pyrenees - complete with a peleton of excited girls in pursuit. (I did pull him aside after his monumental climb and give him some fatherly advice - that as he gets older, it will take more than climbing stairs to impress the girls.)
