In the Beginning...

So there we were on September 15th, relaxing in our new-ish apartment, watching Monday night football, anticipating how much fun it would be when Decleton (our nickname for our unborn, unidentified - not unidentifiable - gender baby) decided to join us, and talking about how great this Web 2.0 world is and assuring ourselves that one of the first things we would do - maybe before we even left the hospital - was start a blog to share photos and cute stories about our new roommate with interested - not interesting - family and friends. (Note, prior to the aformentioned date, I had used the word "cute" exactly seven times in my life. Times - and my vocabulary - were about to change drastically....)
