Well, it only took two years for him to have enough hair to cut... but then it grew in sort of like a mullet. So we took him to Benny's Barbershop last weekend for his first haircut. This is no kids haircut place with race car seats and Elmo shampoo. No, this is Old School Brooklyn. Seriously. (Although it doesn't hurt that their TV--which John says usually plays R-rated flicks from the movie channel--was just playing the opening credits to Shrek, so Joey was preoccupied with saying "donkey!" the whole time.)
He was great! Just a little squirming and one premature proclamation of "Done!", but all-in-all, we considered it a success.
