We intended to keep up with the blog more consistently, but the prospect of having to be funny often keeps me from writing. (John doesn't have that problem, but he also doesn't have access to all the photos. We need to rethink our division of labor...)
Anyway, Mother's Day was wonderful! We spent it by having friends over for brunch. Joey and Fiona practiced their standing, and Diego showed them how to race cars around the apartment. Elijah slept most of the time (Heather and Doug, just wait, you won't get off that easily for long!), and the grown-ups enjoyed several mimosas!
Afterwards, we went for a walk and just hung out the rest of the day. Oh yeah, and Joey is an awesome gift giver... (thanks, Dad, for the sapphire pendant!)
